Meet April, Special Focus referral for EAC

April at 2 1/2 yrs old
April at 2 yrs old

April is a lovely 4 year old girl that likes picture books and cartoons. She can stand and walk holding onto the railing even though her right leg is much smaller than the left leg. When she was 2 years old she knew the parts of the body. She liked to watch other children play but she didn't like to share her toys or food. If other children wanted her toys, she would cry. She eats a variety of foods and is not a picky eater. She likes playing games with the caregiver. When a TV show is over, she'll clap her hands. She likes to listen to music.

April is a special focus little girl who is available to married couples as well as single women who qualify for China. The dossier needs to be submitted to China with in 6 months of acceptance of referral.
Please contact EAC if you are interested in adopting April or learning more about the China waiting child program.

Christian Special Focus Individual referral for EAC

Christian loves to learn and looks forward to going to school every day.

Christian is a 3 year old boy who is always the first one running to welcome the teachers in the morning when they come to take the children to school. He'll take the teacher's hand and blow the caregiver a kiss and say "goodbye."  He likes to play with other children. He's potty trained. At night if he doesn't want to go to bed, he'll say that he needs to potty and then he'll go in the hall and play. He likes to help the caregivers with simple chores like getting the diapers for the younger children. Sometimes he likes to imitate adults movement, which everyone finds very funny. He has a good appetite but he doesn't like to eat his vegetables. His special needs conditions are post-op hydrocephaly, post-op right hernia and post-op cervical meningocele. His has a normal life and normal routine.

Christian is a good eater but don't be surprised if he doesn't eat  his veggies.

Heath special focus individual referral for EAC

Heath is an energetic 3 year old boy who is deaf and mute. The orphanage caregivers describe Heath as mischievous as a little monkey. He'll disappear if you turn your back on him for a minute. He likes to throw a ball outside and run after it. Then he'll look to see if a caregiver notices, if not, he'll continue to play out side until someone gets him. He is picky with clothes and food. He likes to wear colorful clothes. He eats well when it's a favorite food but if he sees food he doesn't like, he'll throw rice. Some of his favorite foods are different kinds of fruits, biscuits, and yogurt. He likes to look at picture books and play games. Although he doesn't speak, his eyes sparkle as if they were talking to you. Although he can not hear, he understands "No." He is very clever and he doesn't give up until he reaches his goal.
